How to Flash Nokia phone

Friends Hello Again!
                      First thing, Do you have a nokia phone?And problem with its software/firmware?
dont worry today i am going to say you that how to flash your nokia phone!
After flashing your phone will be OK! and will work fluiently.

  Now to the point. This is a easy step to flash your nokia phone by a program named JAF

For flashing Nokia phone you need:

1.Computer, Nokia usb data cable, working Internet connection on your PC

2.navifirm.exe - To download original&real nokia software

3.OGM_JAF_PKEY_Emulator_v 5.exe - To begin main program JAF

4.JAFSetup_1.98.62.exe - this is the main program to flash Nokia phone

5.Nokia PC suite - To install cable drivers and update drivers of your phone in PC

6.JAF_ NOKI4MODELS.ini - containes all nokia mobile names for flashing

7.Dotnetfx.exe - To install 3rd party applications and to run all above programs

You wondered where to search these files and download????
dont worry you need not to search these files I have uploaded all thing in a single zip file about 72 mb.
you have to just click HERE (skip ad from upper right corner)

Now, to the Flashing process,

STEP-1
Extract the zip containing all files to desktop or any where else and install Dotnetfx, JAF and Nokia Pc suite



STEP-2
Now you have to Create a path(folder) C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\RM-***
( *** is the RM of your phone.You can know your RM by just dialing *#0000# in normal dialler (or) below your phones battery )Now i am flashing NOKIA 2700 RM-561 so, I created path
C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\RM-561\

STEP-3
Now open program Navifrim and wait untill all data loads including every nokia models now search for your handset model in products menu
including RM and now go to Releases menu and click the version you desire to flash your phone
Note- "DON`T FLASH YOUR PHONE WITH LOWER VERSION, IT WILL MAKE YOUR PHONE DEAD, BUT YOU CAN SELECT HIGHER VERSION"
you can know your current version by just dailing *#0000# in normal dialler of the phone OR
If your phone is completly dead (i.e. only white screen) pick latest version
Select your country varient in varients tab and download every files to
C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\RM-***          ( *** is the RM of your phone)

STEP-4
Now you have to replace the file jaf_nok4models.ini in C:\Program Files\ODEON\JAF

STEP-5
Switch off your phone and connect to pc via USB
 ( (Now connect your phone to computer in pc suite mode and open Nokia PC suite it will update pc suite keep for your  phone )


STEP-6
Now open OGM_JAF_PKEY_Emulator_v 5.exe
and tick Random PKEY Raskal SN and JAF (main program) and click on GO and wait for few seconds and the mistake will popup saying BOX DRIVER NOT INSTALLED ,just ignore it and click ok, JAF will begin automatically
Note: Dont close this program until entire flashing process is completed

STEP-7
When JAF startups go to BBS tab and tick upon Manual Flash , Normal flash , Dead USB and untick
 CRT 308 (Donot tick or untick any other options) Now click  use ini and wait for few seconds,Nokia phone models will open in new window and select your phone model ( RM is also important because some handsets contain similar name but different RM  )

STEP-8
If you had done every thing right and correct MCU, PPM, CNT, APE Variant will glow green (some times APE Varient will not glow ignore it) and click FLASH and a warning popups and click YES

STEP-9
After clicking OK flashing process will begin and a message will popup saying "PRESS POWER ON NOW"
now press your phones switch upon button for about 1-2 secs and wait for few moments and process will complete displaying a message DONE

STEP-10
After completing the flash process your phone will begin automatically if not then remove phones battery and replace it again, and switch upon your phone
VIOLA !!!!! Your phone is now with new software is ready to use!


PRECAUTIONS:
1. Don't flash your phone with lower version.
2. Don't disconnect or turn off your pc from phone until the completion of entire process

NOTE:
"Try this flashing process at YOUR OWN RISK" dont blame me if anything goes wrong.
